About The Site: Why Do I Pray?

I want this website to show others the power of prayer. I want to share Real-life testimonials of how prayer has helped people around the world. Prayer has been so very important in my life since I was 4 years old. I asked to have Jesus in my life at 4 and never turned back. I’m not perfect, I’m a sinner, I don’t have all the answers about God…but I’ve felt him in my heart since I was 4. I know prayer works and is so powerful. Prayer is a simple conversation between me and God, his Son Jesus, & The Holy Spirit. We do not need an intermediary, no pastor, no priest, no other family member or friend…nope it’s just a conversation between me and my God.

So many others feel the same as me so I’ve wanted to setup a platform to post, document, (later audio & video), make public others reasons about why they pray…why we pray. I want others who may be curious or are questioning God to see what real people like me feel prayer does for us.

Prayer changes lives. Prayer changes circumstances. Prayer lifts us up. Prayer can heal. Prayer offers hope. Prayer can give clarity & direction. Prayer can calm us. Prayer can grow us.

Since I was 4 years old I’ve believed in God. I asked my parents about these feelings and we discussed and then we went to see our Pastor and he discussed with me my feelings and then I asked to be baptized. I have never looked back. Every time I’ve gone without prayer I’ve regretted it. I want this site to help others see why prayer has been so important in our lives.
