  • Wash Your Sins Away

“And now what are you waiting for?
Get up, be baptized, and wash your sins away, calling on His name.”

    – Acts 22:16
  • My Wife Prays in her Business too

My wife has a Christian dance studio and we were discussing her upcoming recital. She began to show emotion about one dance in particular because of the power of this dance and how she feels it could connect with people struggling. She said she has prayed about this dance for a while to make sure she does it the way God wants it to be done and that she prayed for direction for this choreography.

I love the fact that my wife trusts God. She Prays about things like I do. It’s not weird to her that I pray about everything and it’s not weird to me that she prays about everything too.

We are both believers, equally yoked, and this makes our marriage so much deeper, stronger, and meaningful. God is at the center of our work and careers.

  • He said I didn’t find God, God found me.

An older friend of mine got Baptized the other day and sent me his baptism video. In the video he said I didn’t find God, God found me. It was a beautiful baptism for a wonderful guy who had a rough past but God found him and is using him to help others. Prayers answered.

Love you man and proud of your baptism and changes for the better. You are a wonderful asset to many and loved by us all.

  • Guidance, Direction, Protection, Love, & Answers.

Part of my daily morning prayers is me asking God for guidance, direction, protection, love, and the answers I need each day.

Then I pray to God that I do all things according to His Will.
  • Pray First. Make Prayer a Priority

Every time I’ve taken my attention away from Prayer I have messed-up. In my personal life, business, and many relationships I’ve messed-up when I took my attention away from Praying about those things first.

    If I didn’t pray before a phone call…it wouldn’t go as well.

    If I didn’t pray before a conversation in person…it didn’t go well.

If I didn’t pray about what my next steps should be in business and strategy…it didn’t work out for the better.

Failure to Pray first causes failure.
  • Attention to Prayer

“We will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word.”

    – Acts 6:4

  • Praying Together Before Meals

Some of my fondest memories are of family meals together. I think one of the unifying aspects of all our meals together was Prayer. Prayer brought us all together. We were all equal…all believers who were giving thanks and praying to our God for our food and time spent together at that very moment. It was peace and unity together…not just a meal.

I still love family meals together and we pray now just as we did when I was a child. I’m proud to keep these traditions going setting wonderful examples for my children and hopefully they will for their children.
  • One Day Jesus Was Praying

“One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, ‘Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.’”

    – Luke 11:1
