Over the years we all have a few complicated relationships. Fault aside…it just happens. Sometimes these are in business or with family or friends. Many times we come to an impasse and cannot move forward with that person and it’s a difficult dilemma to be in.
Most of us want people to like us. Most of us do not want to burn bridges. Most of us want peace in relationships. Sometimes though it’s just not possible and we have to disconnect from that person or they do from us. Sometimes it’s the only way.
These hardships can hurt and cut deeply. If it’s not a break-up it can feel like a break-up. If we lose a customer it can sting. If someone isn’t healthy for us or is a bad influence and we know we have to move-on well it may be the right thing to do…but it’s tough and it’s painful.
I’ve found in business, friendships, and family that whenever there is an issue that we cannot work out, even through prayer, we still need to Pray … Pray for that person, Pray for the specific situation, Pray for ourselves and how to handle it all. When we find a compromise or agreement cannot be met and we have to agree to disagree well then we still should Pray for it all…Pray for each other.
Sometimes God see’s what we do not in a relationship and in His bigger picture He’s protecting us and them so we have to trust His process. If we’ve prayed and listened to God before, during and after the situation then we should trust to keep things peaceful and move on peacefully or stay near each other peacefully.
Personally I’ve found a peace in those painful circumstances when I continue to Pray for that person and myself. I Pray that everything goes according to God’s Will and we all are blessed, protected and safe.
Don’t stop Praying for relationships.
