  • May The Lord Direct Your Hearts!

“May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.”

    – II Thessalonians 3:5
  • Most of us know Prayer works

Most of us respect Prayer and know the power of Prayer. It causes us to bow our heads for meals, bow our heads before or after games, begin or end a church service, close our eyes taking a moment to Pray when we see an auto accident, and more.

We have family and friends who rely on us to Pray for them when they go thru surgeries or are in a life crisis.

So many times we’ve heard or seen people in a Prayer list at Church or a Prayer chain email or someone is asking for Prayer on social media.

Prayer works and we know it.

We wouldn’t pause and close our eyes or ask for it or do it for others if we didn’t believe in the power of Prayer.
  • God Answers Prayers

“God will either give you what you ask, or something far better.”

    – Robert Murray McCheyne

  • Pray & Forgive!

“People ask me what advice I have for a married couple struggling in their relationship. I always answer: pray and forgive. And to young people from violent homes, I say: pray and forgive. And again, even to the single mother with no family support: pray and forgive.”

    – Mother Teresa
  • Prayer is the Goal

“We often think of Prayer as a means to an end. Prayer is the goal.”

    – Francis Chan
  • Full Armor of God

“Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand…And Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of Prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on Praying for all the saints.”

    – Ephesians 6:13, 18
  • Hands clasped in Prayer

“A pair of hands clasped in earnest prayer is the best means we have this side of heaven to hang onto Jesus for dear life.”

    – Beth Moore
  • Prayer is Awesome and Mighty

Prayer is so awesome it can quiet a room, quiet a stadium, quiet a sports field, quiet a concert hall, quiet a dining room, quiet a classroom. Prayer brings believers together, and many times non-believers together, out of respect for our Lord to quiet ourselves and give thanks.

Prayer brings calm, hope, and comfort to a whole giant arena the same as it does a tiny hospital room.

These intimate conversations we have with our God bring peace, unity, and togetherness. Prayer is that powerful, that awesome, that mighty.

  • The Prayer of a Righteous Man

Therefore confess your sins to each other and Pray for each other so that you may be healed. The Prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

    – James 5:16

  • Hang on to Jesus with Prayer

“A pair of hands clasped in earnest prayer is the best means we have this side of heaven to hang onto Jesus for dear life.”

    – Beth Moore
