  • Praying Together Before Meals

Some of my fondest memories are of family meals together. I think one of the unifying aspects of all our meals together was Prayer. Prayer brought us all together. We were all equal…all believers who were giving thanks and praying to our God for our food and time spent together at that very moment. It was peace and unity together…not just a meal.

I still love family meals together and we pray now just as we did when I was a child. I’m proud to keep these traditions going setting wonderful examples for my children and hopefully they will for their children.

  • Pray for difficult relationships.

Many times when I felt at a roadblock with a friend or family member I had nothing else left to do but Pray. I’ve learned my lesson because Prayer should have been at the forefront to begin with in all my relationships.

Countless times when no other human option worked Prayer came thru. God has healed relationships in my life and helped create peace thru wisdom gained from specific Prayer.

Now I make sure I Pray before phone calls with family, outings with friends, business relationships and more. I Pray for wisdom, guidance, direction and protection often to help me navigate relationships. I wouldn’t be effective on my own with taking direction from God thru Prayer.

  • My Mother’s Prayers

My Mom prayed about everything and for everyone. It was her calm to life’s storms. Prayer defeated my Mom’s worries. I watched her love Jesus and have a deep relationship with God until the day she died. She wanted us to know God, Pray first, love others, and have Faith in Jesus Christ, our Heavenly Father, & The Holy Spirit.

  • God hear our Prayers

“Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant. For your sake, O Lord, look with favor on your desolate sanctuary. Give ear, O God…We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy.”

    — Daniel 9:17-18
