  • Pray at the Beginning of Your Day

“In the pure, strong hours of the morning, when the soul of the day is at its best, lean upon the window sill of God and look into his face, and get the orders for the day. Then go out into the day with the sense of a hand upon your shoulder and not a chip.”

    — E. Stanley Jones, Missionary and Theologian
  • Helping Others Through Prayer

When someone dear to me is in need, I can help him or her through prayer. The power of faith and understanding is great. It frees my mind of fear and anxiety about the one for whom I pray. I take my eyes off the problem and focus on the spirit of God within.

No matter how serious the condition or how hopeless my loved one may feel, the spirit of God is within them. I hold my dear one in heart and mind. I see the indwelling life of God as strength, energy and courage.

I send my faith and love to anyone in need, affirming that their spirit will be uplifted. I give thanks, for God is in the midst of all, and all is well.

“The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise them up; and anyone who has committed sins will be forgiven.”

    — James 5:15

  • Most of us know Prayer works

Most of us respect Prayer and know the power of Prayer. It causes us to bow our heads for meals, bow our heads before or after games, begin or end a church service, close our eyes taking a moment to Pray when we see an auto accident, and more.

We have family and friends who rely on us to Pray for them when they go thru surgeries or are in a life crisis.

So many times we’ve heard or seen people in a Prayer list at Church or a Prayer chain email or someone is asking for Prayer on social media.

Prayer works and we know it.

We wouldn’t pause and close our eyes or ask for it or do it for others if we didn’t believe in the power of Prayer.

    – Francis Chan
  • Full Armor of God

“Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand…And Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of Prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on Praying for all the saints.”
