I Pray because …
I pray because Prayer gives me peace. Praying to God helps comfort me and fills me with the strength only HE can give me. I cannot do life by myself. I can’t effectively navigate the hardships life throws my way without the help of The Father, Th Son, & The Holy Spirit.
God loves me and I feel it…that’s why I have Faith. I feel God near me when I Pray and feel his care and love for me.
Without Prayer I would feel very alone in this life and would be mediocre as a family man and business man.
God has been good to me and I respect HIM and respect Prayer. I know the power of Prayer and have seen Prayer work in my life personally for decades.
I love God and thank God for the privilege to be able to have a personal connection with HIM thru Prayer.
Prayer is my Lifeline. -

Her New & Restored Life After Divorce!
A friend of mine wrote this the other day on Facebook and I had to share about what God has done in her life:
This morning, I was cleaning off my bookcase to make room for more books when I found something I hadn’t opened in years: the New Life After Divorce workbook I completed after my first marriage ended.
Then I started reading my own handwriting.
There I was, a little over 20 years ago, asking God to help me. Worried about having enough money. Worried about being alone and raising my children. Unsure which direction my life should go. Asking for peace, security, and contentment.
At the bottom of one page, I had written and underlined, “I want to be RESTORED!”
That was probably the lowest point of my life. Reading those words today brought back how scared and uncertain I felt.
I had to rebuild from almost ground zero financially. I put myself through college, started my own business, and worked to create a life where I could support myself and my children. It took years, a lot of work, and a lot of prayers. Looking at my life today, you might never know where that chapter began.
But what really stopped me was another prayer I had written. I wanted to be able to pay my living expenses on time and have enough left to take my children places and do things with them. And I asked God for someone to share that life with. Someone who loved Him, loved me, and loved my children.
Today, I get to share my life with Shane, my best friend. Seeing how much my children and grandchildren love him, and how much he loves them, means more to me than I can explain. Finding that prayer just days before our 13th wedding anniversary made it especially meaningful.
I wish I could have given the woman writing in that workbook just a glimpse of the life ahead of her.
She couldn’t see it then. I certainly couldn’t have imagined it. But looking back now, I can see how God answered those prayers over time, opened doors, and gave me the strength to keep going.
My life isn’t perfect, but I am truly amazed by how much He has blessed me in every area of it. Especially in the things I was so afraid I would never have again.
I’m sharing this because someone may be praying those same prayers today. I remember what it felt like to wonder how I was going to make it.
A little over 20 years later, I’m holding those prayers in my hands and looking around at the answers.
God, thank You. ❤️

Praise The Lord!
Psalm 106:1-2
Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! Who can utter the mighty deeds of the Lord, or declare all his praise? -
Ask And It Will Be Given To You!
Matthew 7:7
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” -
Gracious God We Thank YOU
Gracious God, we thank you
that you can use these lives,
these imperfect lives, to fulfil
your purposes and become
the means through which
others might meet with you
and know your saving grace.
For the faith you have in us
and the roles prepared for us
we offer everything we are,
and everything we can become
through your love and power.

Rejoice in the Lord Always!
Philippians 4:4-7
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

The Peace of Christ
Colossians 3:15
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. -
God has shown HIMself again!
God has shown himself in our lives multiple times these past few weeks. Dealing with some legal issues for a family member and we really prayed the right people would step-up to law enforcement and not just speak to us off the record…then they didn’t…so we felt sad but never worried because we prayed God would direct everything according to HIS will.
Right before the day in court we didn’t need those people to come forward anyway because the person admitted their own guilt prior to court and that was the most powerful admission we could get.
Praise God because God is Good and HE showed up and everything went according to HIS will not ours. It all turned out better than we could have expected.

I Want A Good Life!
Like all people, I want a good life—loving relationships, rewarding work, and abiding peace. Yet these blessings may elude me until I awaken to my inherent worth.
I am created in the image and likeness of God. My worth does not depend on my behaviors. I am intrinsically worthy because I am a living, loving, divine creation.
When doubts arise, I remember the truth of my being. The good I seek is right where I am. The love I desire is the love of God already present. The work I long to do is Spirit’s calling within me. As I stand in my own sacred worth, I feel the blessings of God infill me. I am worthy of my good. I expect the best, and I am ready to receive!
Now, my daughter, do not be afraid, I will do for you all that you ask, for all the assembly of my people know that you are a worthy woman.—Ruth 3:11
